Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead – Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) with PWA Kit to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance, headless e-commerce solutions.
The ideal candidate will have expert-level proficiency
in Salesforce PWA Kit, SFCC, composable commerce architecture, and modern
frontend rendering and performance optimization techniques.
The role requires strong technical ownership, hands-on architectural expertise, and the
ability to build scalable storefront platforms supporting multiple brands and regions.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the architecture and development of headless storefronts using Salesforce
PWA Kit and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Design scalable, modular, and reusable frontend architectures using modern
web technologies.
• Implement server-side rendering (SSR), hydration, and appropriate rendering
strategies to improve performance and user experience.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals (CWV), page load times, rendering performance, and
overall storefront responsiveness.
• Design and implement multi-brand and multi-region commerce solutions with
support for localization and regional requirements.
• Establish frontend engineering standards, reusable components, code quality
practices, and technical best practices.
• Drive CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and frontend platform delivery
in collaboration with DevOps teams.
• Integrate CMS platforms and content-driven architecture to support dynamic
digital commerce experiences.
• Monitor application health, troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause
analysis, and improve platform reliability.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure
successful technical delivery.
Required Technical Skills
Must-Have Skills
• Salesforce PWA Kit: Expert-level experience in architecture, development, and
implementation.
• Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC): Strong expertise in commerce platform
capabilities and storefront integration.
• Composable/Headless Commerce Architecture: Expertise in designing and
implementing decoupled commerce solutions.
• SSR, Hydration & Rendering Strategies: Deep understanding of server-side
rendering, client-side rendering, hydration, and rendering optimization.
• Frontend Performance Optimization & Core Web Vitals: Expertise in
performance profiling, page load optimization, and frontend responsiveness.
• Multi-Brand/Multi-Region Architecture: Experience designing reusable
storefronts for multiple brands, markets, and locales.
• CI/CD & Frontend Platform Delivery: Proficiency in frontend build pipelines,
deployment automation, and release management.
Good-to-Have Skills
• CMS & Content-Driven Architecture: Experience with headless CMS platforms;
Amplience is preferred.
• Observability, Monitoring & Production Support: Experience with application
monitoring, performance tracking, incident management, and root cause
analysis.
Experience & Qualifications
• Proven experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Salesforce PWA Kit
implementations.
• Strong background in headless commerce, frontend architecture, and
performance engineering.
• Experience delivering scalable, enterprise-grade e-commerce storefronts.
• Ability to drive technical decisions, collaborate across teams, and ensure high
quality delivery.
