Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Own and maintain the books of accounts for the UK entity.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Oversee invoicing, Accounts Receivable, collections, and complex accounting activities.
• Review accruals, deferred income/revenue, prepayments, and revenue recognition.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies.
• Support statutory, internal, and external audits.
Required Qualifications
• 7+ Years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor`s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, month-end close, revenue accounting, finance operations, and technical accounting.
• Strong understanding of accruals, deferred income/revenue, and revenue recognition.
• Hands-on experience with Xero, QuickBooks, and Django.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and English language skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• CA Inter, ACCA, ACA, CPA, CMA (Inter), M.Com, or MBA (Finance).
• Experience with UK accounting or UK books of accounts.
• Exposure to finance process automation.
