Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain the books of accounts for the UK entity.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Manage invoicing, Accounts Receivable, collections, and month-end activities.
• Process accruals, deferred income/revenue, prepayments, and revenue recognition.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and internal controls.
• Support audits, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• 5-7 Years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor`s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in financial reporting, month-end close, revenue accounting, and Accounts Receivable.
• Strong understanding of accruals, deferred income/revenue, and revenue recognition.
• Hands-on experience with Xero, QuickBooks, and Django.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and English language skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• CA Inter, ACCA, CMA (Inter), M.Com, or MBA (Finance).
• Experience with UK accounting or UK books of accounts.
• Exposure to finance process automation.
