Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 8–10 years of experience in managing end-to-end software development and technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within scope, and within budget while effectively managing cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and project risks. The candidate should possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, execute, monitor, and successfully deliver technology projects from initiation through closure.
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource plans in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, business analysts, architects, and DevOps engineers.
Manage project schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests to ensure successful project delivery.
Track project progress using appropriate project management tools and methodologies.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, where applicable.
Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Ensure projects meet quality standards, business requirements, and organizational objectives.
Manage vendor and third-party relationships when required.
Drive continuous process improvement and promote project management best practices.
Required Skills
8–10 years of experience in project management, preferably in software development or IT services.
Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall project management methodologies.
Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Experience in project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively.
Experience working with distributed and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
Experience managing cloud, digital transformation, or enterprise application development projects.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience in vendor and client relationship management.
Exposure to PMO governance and project reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master`s degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
