Job Qualifications
Education: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Required (Preferred? -can someone in
role be promoted without degree)
Experience: • 6-11 years of network experience required
Licenses or
Certifications
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Administrator), Preferred
• CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional), Preferred
Knowledge, Skills
and Abilities
• Advanced knowledge of analyzing existing data networks and recommend
scalable and supportable solutions
• Advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP,
802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, WPA2/WPA3, RADIUS/TACACS+, SD-WAN, Network
Automation, Patch Management and Network Monitoring tools.
• Experience in Implementing a secure wired and wireless network infrastructure.
• Experience in handling Level 2 troubleshooting in Routing, Switching, SD-WAN
and ACI.
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco Data Center architecture or Cisco Catalyst
Center.
• Advanced knowledge of VELO Cloud SD-WAN or similar SD-WAN Architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of supporting Cisco /HPE Aruba/ Meraki LAN/ WAN
switches.
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco/Aruba/ Meraki Wireless Access Points and
controllers
• Advanced knowledge of working within a 24/7 Network Operations Center
(NOC)
• Advanced knowledge of WAN Optimization implementations
• Advanced knowledge of Server Load-Balancing appliances
