Mulesoft Developer Job Description
At Easypost, we are looking for a strong Sr Mulesoft developer to work at our Chennai location. This technical resource must have a strong understanding of MuleSoft products, API integrations, and web application development. This role must be able to work independently to design, develop and document needed code sets. Should be able to use judgment, creativity and strong technical knowledge to resolve the road blocks and provide innovative solutions to technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Create detailed technical specifications and design documents.
• Implement and maintain MuleSoft APIs, integrations, and workflows in accordance with best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integrations, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Optimize and enhance existing MuleSoft applications and integrations.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Stay current with MuleSoft updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and status meetings.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in MuleSoft development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• Proficiency with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Mule 3.x and Mule 4.x.
• Experience with API management, integration patterns, and designing RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Java and JavaScript.
• Experience with data transformation using DataWeave.
• Familiarity with integration with various systems, including databases, CRM, ERP, and cloud services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices is a plus.
• MuleSoft certifications (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer, MuleSoft Certified Architect) are highly desirable.
• Experience with monitoring and performance tuning of MuleSoft applications.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
• Prior work experience with Retail or e-commerce clients.
