 Job Description
 
Our client is looking for candidte for Senior Identity Developer (OpenIAM).


Roles and Responsibilities:
Technical Implementation & Development:
- OpenIAM Configuration and Customization: Develop, configure, and implement solutions within the OpenIAM IGA platform, ensuring they meet the organization`s identity and access management requirements.

Integration & Onboarding:
-Technically onboard applications (both cloud and on-premise) into OpenIAM to support automated provisioning, de-provisioning, and access recertification.
- Workflows & Automation: Implement workflows for identity lifecycle management, ensuring seamless provisioning, de-provisioning, and role-based access control (RBAC) across the organization.
- Custom Scripting and API Integration: Create and maintain custom scripts (e.g., Groovy, PowerShell, Python) and APIs to facilitate complex integration scenarios, automate repetitive tasks, and extend OpenIAM`s out-of-the-box functionality.

Platform Administration & Optimization:
- System Administration: Administer and maintain the OpenIAM platform, ensuring its continuous availability, security, and optimal performance.
- Performance Monitoring: Perform regular health checks, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot any platform-related issues.
- Patch and Version Management: Stay updated with OpenIAM patches and updates, ensuring that new features and security enhancements are timely applied.

Security & Compliance:
- Access Recertification: Configure and automate recertification campaigns to ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Audit & Reporting: Develop and maintain robust reporting mechanisms to provide audit trails, logs, and dashboards for all identity governance processes.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Project Leadership: Support IAM-related projects, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables align with security and business objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Work with application owners, IT operations, security teams, and other stakeholders to define identity governance and provisioning requirements, ensuring successful integration of OpenIAM with various applications.

Cross-Functional Training:
- Provide training and technical support to junior developers, administrators, and other stakeholders, ensuring knowledge sharing and efficient use of the OpenIAM platform.

Documentation & Standards:
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on all configurations, customizations, workflows, and integrations within OpenIAM.

Best Practices & Standards:
- Establish and maintain IAM best practices, ensuring adherence to security policies and industry standards.




Desired candidate should have;

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with identity and access management solutions, including 3+ years working specifically with OpenIAM.
- Deep understanding of OpenIAM`s architecture, modules, and integration capabilities.
- Proficiency in identity lifecycle management concepts, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and recertification.
- Strong expertise in API integrations (REST, SOAP) and custom scripting (e.g., Groovy, PowerShell, Python).
- Experience in onboarding SaaS, cloud, and on-prem applications into an IAM system.
- Strong understanding of RBAC, ABAC, and least privilege principles.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX) and access governance frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with directory services (e.g., Active Directory, EntraID, LDAP).
- Solid knowledge of security standards and protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
- Strong problem solving skills with a proactive and collaborative approach
- Excellent project management abilities and leading IAM projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of relevant compliance standards and regulations.
