Role Overview:
As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a pivotal role in driving financial
strategy, optimizing resource allocation, ensuring financial discipline, and enabling rapid
growth. You will collaborate closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and Parent
Group’s stakeholders to align financial planning with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership
• Develop and execute the financial strategy to support business expansion,
including new offline centres.
• Work closely with the CEO and Sri Chaitanya Group to align financial goals with
the overall vision.
• Drive fundraising, investor relations, and strategic financial planning for
sustainable growth.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory
requirements.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Establish robust budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling frameworks for
revenue optimization.
• Conduct financial performance reviews, cost-benefit analysis, and unit
economics for Edtech and Offline Center operations.
• Track key financial metrics such as CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), CPL, LTV
(Lifetime Value), revenue per student, and centre profitability etc.
Accounting, Compliance & Governance
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, audits, and compliance with regulatory
and tax laws.
• Implement internal financial controls and risk management frameworks
specially for fund collections at our offline centres.
• Oversee working capital management, vendor payments, and collections.
Operational & Fund Management
• Develop an optimized cash flow and capital allocation strategy for tech
infrastructure and offline expansions.
• Drive automation and digitization of financial processes for efficiency and
transparency.
• Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors.
Investor Relations & Growth Funding
• Collaborate with investors, VCs, and financial institutions for fundraising rounds.
• Present financial reports and business performance updates to the board and
stakeholders.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15+ years of experience in financial
leadership roles.
• Must have worked in Startup firms, preferably in Edtech, Consumer Tech, or
Multi-Unit Retail businesses.
• Strong background in financial strategy, fundraising, and investor relations.
• Hands-on experience with business scaling, cost optimization, and unit
economics in a high-growth environment.
• Expertise in M&A, due diligence, compliance, and corporate governance.
• Proficiency in financial ERP systems, automation tools, and advanced analytics.
