• Engineering degree in Computer Science
• 5 – 8 years of experience in backend development at product companies.
• Very strong programming skills.
• Good understanding of system architecture and Linux based systems.
• Good theoretical knowledge of API design.
• Experience building APIs with NodeJS or Python
• Solid understanding of databases concepts.
• Experience of database performance tuning, indexing, and stored procedures.
• Good understanding of computer networking.
• Good understanding of Operating Systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
• Sound knowledge of distributed systems and cloud computing.
• Good communication skills and an attitude to find solutions by interacting with engineers across teams.
