QA Analyst (with OMS or WMS)
As a QA Analyst at EasyPost Professional Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of Order Management and/or Warehouse Management applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to test and validate software solutions, ensuring they meet our high standards and fulfill business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Order Management and Warehouse Management applications.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure software quality.
• Perform REST API testing to validate the functionality, reliability, and performance of APIs using tools like Postman and Swagger.
• Execute performance testing and load testing using tools like JMeter to assess system behavior under various conditions.
• Utilize SQL to write queries to validate data/identify issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design test scenarios, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Document and track defects, work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and verify fixes.
• Ensure that testing is completed within the project timelines and adheres to quality standards.
• Maintain test environments and data necessary for executing test cases.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in QA testing with a focus on Order Management and/or Warehouse Management systems.
• Proven experience with REST API testing, including the use of Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test case design, and defect management.
• Experience with testing tools and technologies, such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar.
• Knowledge of SQL for database testing and data validation.
• Familiarity with Order Management Systems (OMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) processes and workflows.
• Ability to create and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Performance and load testing using JMeter or other performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of integration testing for systems interfacing with OMS or WMS. Preferably Manhattan Active Omni OMS or WMS.
• Prior Experience with Retail or e-commerce or logistics clients
