Job Description
Work Location: Bandra (E).
Key Responsibilities:
1. SAP FICO & Finance Transformation
• Lead and support SAP FI/CO implementations, enhancements, and support activities
• Configure and optimize modules including: o General Ledger (GL), Accounts
Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) o Asset Accounting o Taxation (GST, TDS) o
Costing & Internal Orders
• Collaborate with finance teams to improve: o Financial reporting
o Budgeting processes (CAPEX/OPEX) o Vendor payment systems
• Drive automation initiatives such as bank integrations and payment automation
2. Business Analysis & Requirement Management
• Conduct requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders
• Prepare documentation including:
o BRD (Business Requirement Documents)
o FSD (Functional Specifications) o Process flows (AS-IS / TO-BE)
• Perform gap analysis and propose effective solutions
• Ensure smooth UAT execution and obtain business sign-offs
3. Process Automation & Digital Initiatives
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation
• Lead initiatives such as:
- Vendor payment automation
- Contract lifecycle management
- Workflow automation
4. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
• Act as a liaison between:
- Business teams (Finance, HR, Legal)
- IT teams and external vendors
• Manage vendor deliverables and ensure adherence to timelines
• Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
5. Design & Configuration for Cost tracking: Map business requirements into the SAP CO
module, specifically configuring Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal
Orders, Product Costing (PC), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
6. Financial Integration: Ensure seamless integration between the Controlling module and
Financial Accounting (FI), as well as logistics modules (MM, PP, SD,ETM) to accurately
capture costs and revenues.
7. Product Costing & Analysis: Develop and maintain product cost estimates, overhead
allocation mechanisms, and variance analysis reports.
8. System Support & Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day end-user issues,
debug system errors, and conduct root-cause analysis.
9. System Design: Build and set up SAP S/4HANA CO tools like Universal Journal and Margin
Analysis.
10. Data Migration: Help move financial data from older systems into SAP S/4HANA.
11. User Support: Train team members and fix system errors or data issues.
Required Abilities :
• 7–8 years of experience in SAP FICO
• Strong knowledge of FI/CO modules and finance processes
• Experience in SAP implementations and support projects
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and financial compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Desirable Candidate:
• Experience in finance transformation projects
• Exposure to automation tools and digital initiatives .
